“I cannot say enough how Micello has helped me grow throughout my college years. This company is truly defined by the people who make it work. The people around the office are definitely some of the most respectful and kindest people I could ever hope to work with. I am thankful on many levels for the amount of time Micello devotes to teaching and training us on how to function in a growing industry. From the moment I walked in to the door, to the moment I left; I never questioned my contributions to Micello’s operations. As Micello grows, so do you. Micello allowed me to collaborate with other interns, meet deadlines and give direction. Micello, along with the people that make it great, are truly a class act. I am forever grateful for this company which allowed me to not only gain new skills but gain new friends in the process!” -- Tommy Goodwin

"About my life at Micello, I want to say a lot. As a foreign intern, I appreciated the open working environment at Micello. Just beside my desk there is a wish wall. Some of the wishes have already come true. Every advice is considered as long as it helps improve the company. Also I enjoyed the happy lunch time with almost all the employees at Micello. Different topics will be on and you can know a lot about American culture. The most important, all the employees at Micello are such lovely and friendly people that makes you feel like this is a family." -- Siqi Cheng
April 2010 to June 2011
"My experience at Micello was a combination of intense problem solving, rushing to meet deadlines and creative fun with maps and graphics. I gained a lot of real world experience and technical expertise by working in the nurturing team environment. My favorite project was a demo Flash animation for the iPhone app that had to be completed in one day. Some of the perks and pleasures I enjoyed include introduction to the cartographer lifestyle, free office Cappuccino and the unforgettable monthly Indian Pizza." -- Eyasu Kifle

"Life at Micello was a really fun, eye opening experience for me. It was the first time I was immersed into an office/start-up environment surrounded by knowledgeable, working professionals, which I think is a really cool thing to witness from the inside as a college student. Simply by observing and listening to the day to day tasks and conversations, I got a better feel and understanding of how a good team works. Lastly, I can't describe my experience at Micello without mentioning the oh-so-wonderful people that actually make Micello, Micello. What I liked best about the team was that every one had a sense of humor. I don't think I can think of a day that not one joke or anecdote was told. Whether it ended in a little chuckle to myself or the whole room erupting into laughter, I always found a way to smile because of these guys. I think that's the first thing that comes to my mind when I think of Micello - all the laughs we shared. Who knew work could be so fun?" -- Jonathan Tran

"It was fascinating to be a part of Micello during its rapid growth spurt. I was lucky enough to witness the expansion of the company's innovative vision. Although small in numbers, the Micello employees made up for it with their dedication and talent. Being in such an environment not only inspired me, but taught me about the many aspects of working with a start-up company. Micello's work environment, for me, was very conducive for innovation. Despite being only a part-time employee, my suggestions and ideas still bared weight. This exemplifies how Micello values and reaches out to each of their employees regardless of hierarchy, which I feel, is an important component of any successful company." Tommy Pham
